If you've been living with back pain, neck stiffness, headaches, or an injury that won't settle down, booking a first appointment can feel like a big step. Maybe you've tried other treatments that didn't help. Maybe you've never seen a chiropractor before and aren't sure what happens once you walk in.

At Infinite Health Group, your first visit is built around one goal: finding out what is really behind your pain. Here's how it works, from booking to leaving with a plan.

Before your visit

Choose the office that works for you

We have two Manhattan offices, so you can pick the one closest to your home or work:

  • Financial District: 150 Broadway, Floor 9, New York, NY 10038
  • Midtown: 11 West 36th Street, Floor 4, New York, NY 10018

You can book online or call us at (212) 970-0047.

Let us check your insurance

Nobody wants a surprise bill. We accept most major PPO plans. Depending on your plan and the care you need, your visits may be in-network (including select plans in our physical therapy department) or covered through your out-of-network benefits.

Send us your insurance details once, and our team will verify your benefits before your first visit. That way, you know what to expect before you ever sit on the table.

We don't accept EPO, HMO, or Medicare plans. If that's your coverage, ask us about our simple self-pay rates. You can learn more on our insurance page or check your coverage online.

What to bring

A little preparation helps your doctor get the full picture. Plan to bring:

  • A photo ID and your insurance card
  • A list of any medications or supplements you take
  • Any recent X-rays, MRIs, or reports related to your pain
  • Notes on when your symptoms started and what makes them better or worse

Wear clothes you can move in comfortably, since your exam may include some simple movement tests.

When you arrive

Our offices are calm, clean, and modern. Our front desk team will welcome you, get you checked in, and answer any last questions about your visit or coverage.

Many of our patients tell us this is where they first start to relax. As one patient put it after their first visit to our FiDi office, the space felt clean and welcoming, and they never felt rushed.

Your comprehensive exam

This is the heart of your first visit. Every new patient at Infinite Health Group begins with a full examination. We don't take a one-size-fits-all approach, so this step matters.

We start by listening

Your doctor will ask about your symptoms, your health history, your work and daily habits, and your goals. Do you sit at a desk all day? Train hard at the gym? Carry a child on one hip? These details help us understand how your body is being used and what may be adding to your pain.

We look at the whole body

Pain doesn't always start where you feel it. A headache may trace back to your neck. Knee pain may be tied to how your hips or feet move. Your doctor will look at how your body is functioning as a whole, including your posture, movement, joints, and nerves.

We explain what we find

Our founder, Dr. Kevin Thomas, built this practice on a simple idea: find the real cause, explain it in plain terms, and treat it hands-on. Your doctor will walk you through what's going on and why, without confusing medical jargon. You're always welcome to ask questions.

Your personalized care plan

Once your doctor understands what's driving your symptoms, they'll build a treatment plan designed for you. The focus is on restoring function, easing pain, and helping you get results that last.

Because we offer several connected areas of care under one roof, your plan can draw on whatever fits your needs best. That may include:

  • Chiropractic care, such as adjustments and spinal decompression
  • Physical therapy and sports recovery to rebuild strength and movement
  • Brain health and neurology for concussion, dizziness, migraines, and nervous system concerns
  • Prenatal chiropractic for comfort during pregnancy
  • Regenerative and aesthetic treatments that support tissue healing
  • Longevity and bio-optimization programs focused on energy and healthy aging

Your doctor will explain what each part of your plan does, how often you may need to come in, and what you can do at home to support your progress.

Why patients feel at home here

Many people come to us after years of trying to find answers. What they often tell us is that they finally feel heard. Our team works closely together, so your chiropractor, physical therapist, and other providers are all on the same page about your care.

That teamwork, paired with modern equipment and advanced training in neurology, sports science, and longevity, is what sets Infinite Health Group apart.
